consumergood.vc finds and supports startups (pre/seed, A/B) that build and design better foods and fashion brands and those that research, invent and create the needed materials to reduce/remove toxins, improve health and do not rely on animals, i.e. vegan and plant-based materials, ingredients and products*.

Note: This syndicate is not a charity and supports for-profit startups based on their likelihood to provide healthy returns in the long term. While the syndicate does not back charities, we applaud the for-profit startups that do or find other ways to give back while making or building towards a healthy profit. (This syndicate is also known as sustainables.vc.)

(* Vegetarian may be tolerated in rare cases and only if animals are provably treated with compassion, love and a focus on their physical and mental health and only when vegan or plant-based alternatives have been explored but could not be used for business critical reasons. Lab grown meats may be tolerated if it is impossible to cause suffering.)

consumergood.vc expects 1-2 deals per year but may deviate depending on market dynamics. Startups raising family/friends, pre/seed and series A/B may be included. Black, people of color, women and neurodiverse founders are strongly encouraged to apply.
